Resource lifecycle
The Resources tab can expose these operations:
| Action | Effect |
|---|---|
| Start | Starts a stopped resource. |
| Stop | Stops a running resource without deleting its Kuberns record. |
| Restart | Restarts or recreates the runtime process through the supported orchestration path. |
| Terminate | Removes the resource and associated infrastructure according to the backend workflow. |
Before stopping or restarting
- Check whether the resource handles live user traffic.
- Review in-flight jobs and database connections.
- Check available runtime credits.
- Follow Activities and Logs after the operation.
Before termination
Treat termination as destructive. Export required data and confirm that no service depends on the resource.
Trial restrictions can prevent start, stop, restart, termination, and resource creation. Credit or transfer exhaustion can also affect resource state.
