Managed resources
Databases
Kuberns supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB. Connection values are provided to the environment according to the resource and deployment flow. Store application-facing credentials in environment variables.
A database created here also gets its own pages for credentials, metrics, backups, and storage. See Datastores.
Queues and caches
Supported subtypes include:
- Redis.
- Kafka.
- NATS.
Background workers
Worker subtypes include:
- Celery.
- Node Worker.
The deployment configuration can also define Procfile commands for web and worker processes.
Miscellaneous services
The generic miscellaneous category supports processes that do not fit the primary server, database, queue, cache, or worker categories.
Availability, plan sizes, storage defaults, and cost are returned dynamically for the selected region and resource plan.
